How precisely these two lines summed up the hardest moment of your life! I wonder how the writer felt when he came up with these lines.
"Are you on orkut?" might not be as trivial a question as "Are you on facebook?" anymore. Orkut has a community which says " I can't forget my first love" The info lines speak about how ignorant and unprepared when you fall in love for the first time. You are unguarded and unaware. But is it the same when it is second time? It never is gonna be. You realise the symptoms earlier. You catch the signals of the person. You are cautious of every single flirty line popping out. You compare, you ignore, you reciprocate, you regret. Above all you over think. Left brain is more active than your right this time. You give away sometimes, you run away sometimes.
Well, a person comes right after your first heart break, the receptivity, as we call in marketing is high. You are more prone to fall again. Another hypothesis could be that you will be susceptible which wins over the attraction. However if enough time elapsed, here I have a strong view that you are never over your ex till another person enters your life. Scientifically it takes an year for a girl and six months for a guy to get over a relationship of year long.
So lets say the above mentioned time elapsed and you sense "magic" again. This time you don't fall head over heels, you don't attribute any romantic novel or movie, you simply get alert. That's when you tell your heart "Sambhal ja zara" Its good to think. To take time. To give time. To correct mistakes made before. To analyze. The only thing I say its not wrong. Its not your fault that you can love again. Heart is to love. To cherish life's mind-blowing experiences. Its definitely not your fault that the first love did not turn out to be soul-mate. You need to let it go. Embrace the awesome future coming on your way.
The fundamental question which bothers is "What if this too fails?" But my dear, Schrodinger Cat of Big Bang theory is my answer.
