Happy Valentine's Day...

Just like a small scale survey I asked few of my friends a Valentine's Day question..

Question was "If you gotta propose your love instantaneously without pre-planning, we will provide you ring, rose, candy or watever if you want... How will you?"

Keerthi, Srikanth and Swathi said they never thought of such thing till now...

Sireesha said that she will be confident while speaking. Explaining how their frequencies match and how special that person is in her life...

Charles-Hmmm.. I will go straight to her with a rose when she is alone.. and look straight into her eyes and say 'I love you and tell her that without her my life would be something of no use. I will tell that i would have waited an eternity to get a place in her heart..

Leena- Ten out of thousand girls propose a guy.. i'm not in that ten

Bindu-Shy filled voice and soft indirect expression of love..

Ashwin- Simple direct I like you..

Chandan- Will take on a roller coaster ride..lol.. and then tell what I feel...

Muhammed-I m madly in love with you.. Please accept my love as a gift for life..

Ibrahim-Cant propose on marriage day..lol.. me against love..Anti-valentine

Sneha-soft and sophisticated so as to make him feel comfortable..

Lawrence-A plain paper is enough for me..Hmmm.. I would just write her name and my name as her surname..

Anonymous (male)-Will take her to lonely place, well lighted and will tell his feelings with a cool present like "Teddy bear" written like "my heart beats for you!"

Anonymous-1(female)-Candle lit dinner with music being played especially "guitar".. Indirect approach with greeting card...

Anonymous-2(female)-First will try to guess how he may respond to this and then decide how to.. Indirect approach only preferred..
(Few of the above are committed.. )

Most of the girls are out of the thought that it's guy who should propose kinda thing..

But the most important thing is only two of the above list knew the fact that propose means the ques "Will you marry me?" not "I love you".. Sneha and Lawrence...
All the people included are between 18-23...

Anyways.. "Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful nor conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes." as I heard in "A walk to remember"..

But I request people to believe in word "eternal love".. Dont form opinions based on teenage love.. Its not a game or fun filled activity.. Its life long promise you make..

Happy Valentine's Day junta... Use this occasion to express your feelings for the first time and not like an anniversary...
and no embarassing stuff in public.

P.S. Dont ever ditch or take lite your friends for spending time with your love coz its them who listen to all your feelings and your love story with patience even if they are not interested, and render their shoulder when you break into tears after a break up or hurt by your love...

Song from Santhosham, Music by R.P.Patnaik, Lyrics by Chandra Siddhartha, Sung by Rajesh..

So much to say that I love you
Now that so much I need you

How would it be if you leave me

Feel it for me to believe me

I want to love but not alone

Living for you and dying for you

I want to love but not alone

Living for you and dying.... for you

Valentine week--2

ETERNAL LOVE

Once upon a time there was a kingdom named Kuruvasa in southern part of India ruled by Rani Ambika. She was not blessed with a son to rule the kingdom after her. She adapted her daughter’s son Pratap to be her heir. Under her there was a greedy king named Narendra. He wanted to have control over the other parts of the kingdom also. For that he wanted to give his daughter‘s hand to the Prince in marriage.

In the city ruled by him lived Adhir who did miscellaneous works for his living and his grandmother. One day when he was working in a merchant’s shop where dry fruits imported were sold, two girls grabbed some packets and ran. He chased the girls and managed to catch one. When he saw her beautiful face he couldn’t stop staring. Girl struggled to get her freed but when she saw him looking into her eyes she could only roll down her eyes with shy. After a couple of minutes the other girl came there and pleaded him to leave her. He agreed to leave her only when she told her name. The girl said “Praveena”. He said “Veena?” She stressed “Praveena”. But he again repeated Veena. She shouted Praveena and forced her hands out and ran with her mate. But her bangle was left in his hands. It was the first meeting of Adhir and Veena.

Later they met daily in the shop place. Veena spoke to him first asking his name. He replied “Adhir” She said its strange because she never heard before. He told her with a smile that he didn’t name himself. Adhir and Veena spent time together during day time and she used to rush home before sunset as her father returns home by that time. After few days of togetherness Veena while walking through the woods confessed her love for him, finding place in his arms. He just answered “You are mine from now” embracing her.

One day Veena went to his house. And saw his grandmother who was bedridden. She also found a sword. She waved it and he asked her how come she know using sword. She said she learnt from her brother.

Veena loved Adhir so much that she had his name written on her hand forever. When Adhir saw that he told her that he will also do the same. But because she knew it pains she took promise that he shouldn’t get her name written on his hand.

The next day it was announced that the princess going to get married to Pratap, the future king. That day Veena ran to Adhir and asked him to take her with him to some place because her father, the king planned for her wedding. She told him that she used to come out of the palace with the help of her maid, Rekha. Adhir couldn’t take the fact that Veena made a lie. He just left without any reply. Veena returned to palace and told her father that she couldn’t marry Pratap because she loves Adhir. Narendra house arrested her. Veena wrote a letter to Adhir and asked Rekha to hand over it to him. The letter read that Veena would die the next day but not going to accept anyone else in her life.

He came on a horse in black clothes to the palace, broke through the window and got her out and was leaving when soldiers tried to stop him. In fight with the soldiers Veena fell on the ground but he couldn’t stop to get her. As he moved few distance, he saw her coming on another horse fighting with soldiers. Rani Ambika heard of this fight and came to the place. She saw the way Veena fought for her love and asked Narendra to call back his soldiers. She asked him to allow her daughter to go according to her choice. Narendra couldn’t speak against to the Queen.

Veena got onto Adhir’s horse and Adhir rode it towards the north. Veena asked her where they were going. He told her that he, Prince of Prakshita, kingdom in North of the country. He came to Kuruvasa for learning a special yodh vidya(warrior art). Shocked by his words Veena asked him why he didn’t tell this to her father for her hand but he replied that he wanted her, not her father’s consent. Veena rolled down her eyes and saw her name written on his chest. She asked about the promise but he said that he promised he won’t get it written on hand, not heart. She rested on it and they travelled towards their future.

If you feel this story is good, then its mine or else its not mine :P (Fact is that I wrote this story)

A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
